Science tackles the problem of UAPs
A new pre-published article on arXiv presents a summary of the scientific work that has been done on the subject of UAPs over the last decades.

Bringing together more than thirty authors, scientists and researchers, the article is 160 pages long, including 60 pages of references, and covers nearly a century of scientific research on UFOs around the world.
Led by Pr. Kevin Knuth, Department of Physics, University at Albany, this collaborative effort aims to "clarify the existing global and historical scientific narrative around UAP", with an emphasis on initiatives outside the United States.
Through this work, the authors hope to "enable future studies to draw on the great depth of experience documented to date".
While an exhaustive history of the scientific study of aerial and marine anomalies on a global scale and in history would take much more than 160 pages, the reader will find in this article a very dense summary of the studies carried out within the major world powers, current scientific initiatives aimed at continuing the research, as well as a list of organisations involved in the subject.
The last part of the document presents the recommended methods for collecting usable data on UAPs and will undoubtedly be of interest to the wave of citizen scientists who are beginning to take an interest in the subject.
