Congressmen hint at a secret UAP push post-briefing with Lue Elizondo
They also confirm choice of David Grusch as whistleblower witness.
Journalist and Adj. Pr. Matt Laslo has recently scoured the halls of Congress, interviewing elected officials regarding UAP for Ask A Pol. A pattern seems to emerge from the collection of his audio recordings.
Rep. Ralph Norman, while leaving a classified briefing in a SCIF, confirmed talking with Lue Elizondo, former AATIP director. Interviewed by Ask A Pol, he declared about him: “I'm going to bring him back”. He emphasized: “We've got a real problem. This isn’t playland. He told us about the facts of the matter, about what is happening. And that was concerning.” Rep. Norman also considered Lue Elizondo “an expert”, “Combat veteran, very qualified” who has been doing “this for 30-some years”.
Intriguingly, he added: “We're just going to be unprepared and just take it. This isn't political.”
That statement could make one think of (Ret.) Colonel Nell’s presentation during the Sol Conference. He declared that a catastrophic disclosure could happen. It’s “where all the information is just dumped out there by an adversary or non-human intelligence to create societal disruption.”
Talking to Matt Laslo, Rep. Norman explained that Lue Elizondo delivered a 20-minute unpaid presentation during the Conservative Opportunity Society weekly briefing, and then answered some questions. The COS was founded by Newt Gingrich in 1983 to act as a conservative think tank.
Rep. Norman then confirmed that Elizondo corroborated whistleblower David Grusch’s claims made during the July 26th hearings, declaring under oath that the U.S. had an unsupervised program to recover crashed craft from a non-human origin.
According to Rep. Norman, Lue Elizondo showed slides, and was accompanied by 2 pilots and a scientist. He added that “a combat pilot that had flown missions and reported what he saw” also took pictures of UAP. One might wonder what these pictures and slides could show, given that they were presented in an unclassified setting.
Norman concluded that he “couldn't decipher everything he had.” Nevertheless, he explained that “it's up to me to get those who can decipher and walk us through it”. He concluded by stating that Lue Elizondo “did a hell of a job.”
This meeting with Elizondo was also confirmed by Representative Burlison. In an interview with Matt Laslo, he confirmed “we did have Lue Elizondo today” adding that “what they presented is very similar to what David Grusch was presenting”.
Cryptically, Rep. Burlison then declared: “I've got something up my sleeve. I don't want to talk about it. I’ll keep you informed, because I got a big thing, that I'm going to announce”, regarding UAP.
Burlison’s secret project may well be fueled by the frustration he suffered when trying to organize a classified briefing with David Grusch. Talking to Sentinel News during a private conference organized by Ask A Pol, he declared: “It’s crazy that we can have him in a public hearing, but to get him back into a SCIF seems insurmountable.”
His sentiment may also be shared by other Congressmen. Sen. Marco Rubio, in reference to whistleblowers coming forward regarding UAP, declared: “There is a whistleblower complaint filed by one of them” and he hoped AARO spend time with them when it had the opportunity.
Indeed, during the hearings, David Grusch’s answers were often limited by his vow of protecting U.S. classified information, though he added several times that he could deliver information such as localization of craft and pilots’ corpses under a classified setting, like a SCIF. One might wonder why it is so challenging for legal representatives to secure access to such a protected facility and interview a whistleblower.
Furthermore, at the end of a secret briefing with representatives from the Inspector General regarding the investigation of David Grusch’s claims, Rep. Burlison declared to Mr. Laslo that “There are certain locations that they've provided that we can certainly look into. That's what I'm looking forward to” even though “it's not going to be easy to get access”.
Rep. Nancy Mace got out of the same classified briefing, declaring:“ I would say David Grusch determined to be credible on some of the things that we discussed today”. Regarding a possible upcoming hearing, she added, “I think that the private contractors should be on that witness list. I won't name names, but we have a better sense of who that might be today.”
Regarding the secret plan of the Congressmen, one could wonder if they are not referring to a possible field hearing on UAP. With that in mind, Matt Laslo interviewed Rep. Luna, who answered: “I feel like we can get more done that way, and we can kind of direct it and be more aggressive.”
This statement carries more weight when considering another declaration from Rep. Luna: “This has been a long-term effort to keep this information outside the purview of Congress.” Furthermore, in the same interview, she later added, regarding Grusch’s claims: “I think we made the right decision to bring Grusch in to testify.”
February 15th, Rep. Glenn Grothman, chair of the House Oversight Committee, also declared regarding David Grusch’s testimony: “We may do something else, yeah”, adding “That’s a tip, nobody else knows that!”
