Are UAPs hiding in clouds?
A new leaked military video was released by journalists Jeremy Corbell and George Knapp, seemingly showing a disk shaped object hiding in the clouds and evading surveillance
On June 17, 2025, on documentary filmmaker Jeremy Corbell's channel, he and George Knapp showed what appears to be a UAP entering and exiting the clouds, filmed from a military platform according to their claims.
In an era in which AI is flooding social networks with fake UFO videos, George Knapp and Jeremy Corbell insisted on respecting the chain of custody of materials by choosing footage from the military.
According to Corbell and Knapp, the 3 videos were filmed november 23, 2020. The first video features a cloud-filled sky filmed from above, at 35°02.91’N, 71°17.86’E in Afghanistan. The second video is a close-up of an area where a shadow can be seen moving at sharp angles, seemingly between the clouds. The object appears to be rounded with lighter areas around it. The third video is an edited segment that attempts to enhance the footage.
Jeremy Corbell explains that this “thermal” video captured by an Air Force asset has been discussed for years, and is coming from an archive containing a large number of UAP footage. That long rumored "ufo vault" has been the target of countless denied FOIA for years. Proving its existence in itself could be a serious blow to statements published by the Department of Defense.
The interaction between clouds and advanced platforms has long been mentioned in the litterature. It was also recently mentioned by whitleblower Matthew Brown. Deadly for most aircraft, the Earth's cloud cover could offer both fuel and evasion to sensors.
Assuming the video is genuine, the most intriguing part is probably the way the object appears to turn around after reaching the area of detection. This could be a coincidence, but if not, there are only two possible explanations. Either the craft has such powerful detection capabilities that it can sense it is being illuminated by a long-range surveillance device, or its movements are coordinated by an authority with access to this live data. The first case would suggest that the craft is either an enemy platform or of non-human origin. In the second case, it would suggest either that US intelligence capabilities are completely vulnerable, or that the craft belongs to the US military. However, in the secret race to develop new weapons systems, it is always preferable to make your adversary believe that you have advanced weapons, even if this means fabricating false information and leaks to make them appear authentic.
While this may seem scandalous, it would apparently be in line with the Air Force's tactics, as revealed in a recent Wall Street Journal article. The video could also be a misinterpretation of a mundane event, as was the case with the 29 Palms footage, which was incorrectly identified as anomalous by Corbell and Knapp. However, a comparison with official military footage of a flare training exercise, obtained by John Greenewald, revealed that the event was in fact ordinary.
Sentinel News recently learned that the European Space Agency’s Sentinel satellite constellation, equipped with a synthetic aperture radar, could capture metallic objects hidden in clouds as long as they were stationary, and bigger than a school bus.
